South County Neighborhood Disaster Preparedness Project
The South County Neighborhood Disaster Preparedness Project (SCNDPP) is a California not for profit public benefit corporation dedicated to supporting disaster preparedness in South Santa Clara County, California. SCNDPP is qualified as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service, and donations made to SCNDPP are tax deductible. Our EIN is 77-0423949. SCNDPP is an all volunteer organization.
Objectives and Purpose
To assist and support communities and residents in South Santa Clara County prepare for effective disaster response through training and pre-planning.
To provide financial support for emergency preparedness including but not limited to the purchasing of training, equipment and supplies for emergency response.
To provide financial support for the on-going operation of emergency preparedness assets including but not limited to our local area Amateur and GMRS repeaters that provide CERT team communications, and backup emergency communications.
To provide collaboration tools and support for emergency preparedness and response.
